News The Council on Racial, Ethnic, and Cultural Diversity CRECD established this award to recognize doctoral students and junior faculty members with outstanding scholarship in the areas of racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity in social work education.
Social work is all about relationships; the relationships you develop with your clients, your colleagues, and the community. Silberman taught me the value of developing those relationships.
When you join the Silberman community, you gain more than just an education, you gain a lifetime of resources.
The total field placement internship is competed in the residency year. Students usually complete the 60 credit program in five semesters plus two intervening summers. Applicants must have received the BSW degree within the five years prior to application. Applicants accepted into the program receive credit for the first year of the MSW program.
Applicant must meet all other admissions criteria for acceptance into the graduate social work program at Silberman. Students can complete the 36 credit program in three semesters. Accelerated Full-Time Program. This is an intensive program for outstanding students prepared to participate in a demanding month program. This program is designed for students who can devote themselves to full-time study. Students are expected to attend classes two days a week and to participate in the field placement three days a week Students can complete the credit program in five semesters.
The only method available in this program is Clinical Practice with Individuals, Families, and Groups. Accelerated One-Year Residency Program.
