Adobe flex open link in new window

Registered: Sep 22 Posts: 3. Did you ever figure this out? My problem is that I need my weblinks to open in a new window simply by clicking them without having to right click and choose the option.

It seems to be defaulting to downloading the link in the document which is awful! MY audience is not going to understand or have the patience to right click I need it to default to open the new window. I set up the links in the Word document to open in a new window, but when the Word document is converted to PDF, the embedded links lose their open-in-new-window property.

Is there a script that can be run when the first PDF file is opened that automatically changes the user preferences so cross-document links open in a new window? Or is there a way to easily modify the links created during the Word-to-PDF process so that the cross-document links open in a new window? Good luck! Community Bot 1 1 1 silver badge.

I am testing on local environment. As you suggested link in that link they suggest to use URLLoader to call php page and pass parameter. But my issue is diffrent i want to open new window with specified link.

I got your point now. I have tested and it's always opening a new window. Maybe the browser's settings should determine if that's actually a new window or a new tab. Ohh yes you right.
